PLACE AN ORDER

December 23, 2002
Edward tells Alexis to make herself useful. Alexis calls Felicia to get an update on the Ida situation. Carly sees Alexis & Felicia. Carly tells Alexis she better not be there to represent Sonny. Alexis tells her she regrets ever having represented Sonny as he is brought in by Taggert. They make eye contact.
Sonny: Are you responsible for this?
Alexis: If by this you mean am I responsible for telling the police about the witness, you know I had to do that .
Sonny: You still hold me responsible for what happened with your sister, don't you?
Alexis: You can't even say it, can you?
She walks away.

December 24, 2002
Cameron tells Alexis he has something he could be doing for her & her baby on Christmas. Alexis holds Kristina while Cameron looks on. Alexis and Cameron talk about his past while she holds Kristina. Later, Alexis looks up from holding Kristina to see Zander. He says he has a present for the baby. When he is about to leave Alexis asks if he has somewhere to go. Alexis rocks her baby with sheer & utter joy on her face.

December 30, 2002
Alexis has Cameron come visit her. He jokes until he sees she has his file. Alexis is disagreeing with Cameron over the fact that she got his dossier when she gets a call from Jax. He asks if she is free and she looks back at Cameron. At the PCPD Jax tells Sonny that Alexis is going to be Brenda's lawyer. Sonny doesn't like that idea because she is going to try to pin the crime on him & Jason. Sonny accuses Jax of screwing up; Brenda says that is not true. Ned tells Alexis he will be visiting Kristina any time he pleases; there is nothing she can do about it. She tells him he cannot use her child to compensate for Brooke Lynn and her absence but Ned does not seem to agree. Overbearing and out-of-control, Ned tells Alexis he plans to spend as much time as possible with their daughter. He says if she doesn't like it, there isn't much she can do about it. She admits she doesn't like it much at the moment and asks what she did to anger him to such a
degree. He then suggests perhaps she would like the alternative (Sonny) better...

December 31, 2002
Chastity (Alexis) enters as a tambourine-banging prohibitionist horrified to see her husband Lenny (Ned) in such a place, obviously drunk with such a hussy (Faith).

January 2, 2003
In the courtroom, Gia tells Alexis she found a precedent but Alexis says it will not help unless she finds Ida Warren and gets her to change her story. Ric asks who Brenda's attorney is. Sonny tells him it is Alexis Davis and she is the best. Carly has a look at this point. It's interesting. Ric asks why she is not representing Jason, too, and Sonny says it is because Alexis hates Jason. Jason's attorney asks for a recess to discuss a plea bargain. Jason is clearly stunned. Ric asks Sonny if he can step in. Sonny says yes. Alexis looks mildly scared that her client might be betrayed by her own husband but glad when Jason fires attorney #1 and replaces him with Ric. In the courtroom Brenda tells Jason he doesn't have to do this for her. He says that even though he
cannot stand her, he does not want to testify against her. Skye taunts Jax by telling him that Brenda & Jason look awfully cozy for a fake marriage. Sonny tells Ric that Jason is like a brother to him and if Jason goes away, Ric will be going away too. Jason and Brenda "act married" while worried Jax & Courtney look on.

January 3, 2003
Alexis is horrified when Gia tells her how she "helped". Nik starts to play Ida's taped confession but Alexis makes him shut it off. Alexis is seriously angry with Gia. She tells her nothing on the tape exists; they never had this conversation. When Ric tells Alexis that Ida is dead she looks seriously afraid that Jason did it. Jax listens as Ric and Alexis talk. Ric and Alexis agree to a pre-trial conference.

January 6, 2003
At the courthouse, Jax tells Alexis he wants her to pin the entire murder on Jason. Alexis does not tell if she will or will not. He leaves. She goes into the courtroom. Carly, who has been listening, follows her. Carly slaps Alexis across the face in an attempt to get her attention. She then tells her she will not frame Jason or in any way make him look guilty or else Sonny will hate her more than he already does, if that is possible. Alexis stands and takes her wrath. When Carly leaves Alexis is slightly shaken. Alexis is working on her opening arguments. Kristina's ghost appears and tells Alexis she just let Carly get away with slapping her, and Sonny get away with killing her sister and that she needs to take this opportunity to hurt Sonny by going after Jason. Alexis wakes up as Cameron shows up in court and asks her what she is doing. Alexis wants to
know why Cameron is there. Jax walks in and interrupts them asking Cameron to help him prove Brenda is crazy. Alexis wants Jax to tell Brenda his idea & give her a lot of time to get used to it. On the docks, Ned and Faith are making out. Alexis spies them and looks as though her stomach might turn.

January 7, 2003
Alexis sees Ned & Faith making out and quickly turns and leaves. In a scene full of delightful browns, Cameron finds Alexis crying outside Kelly's. When she whispers that it is because she just saw Ned & some blonde having sex on the docks, Cameron predictably says, "Good for Ned." Alexis, caught off-guard, tells Cameron that Ned is not Kristina's father. Alexis tells Cameron that she wanted to be a single mother all along. Cameron says Ned was just trying to help and admits he abandoned his own son. Cameron relates to Alexis how his son Pete died in a hunting accident in the backwoods of Florida during the last week of hunting season, and how his younger son disappeared right after the funeral. We see the flashback and when the camera pans to the younger son we see it is Zander.

January 8, 2003
Brenda, Jax & Jason are fighting when there is a knock at the door. It's Alexis! Jason seems surprised to see her. She asks Brenda if she has reconsidered being hypnotized. Jax & Jason look on. Alexis, Jax & Brenda show up at Cameron's office so that Brenda can be hypnotized. Brenda has flashbacks of the night Alcazar died. She thinks it is her fault Luis is threatening those she loves. Alexis, though not saying a word, looks empathetic. Brenda announces she is going to kill him now. Brenda continues to discuss what she saw on the night of the murder. She relays that she did not kill Luis but she also reveals that she saw a man in the shadows with a dark overcoat & a gun. The man is about to turn around. Outside the room, Ric presses the intercom button and listens to Brenda's story while looking increasingly greener.

January 9, 2003
Ric agrees to let the therapy session continue after speaking to Jax & Alexis. Brenda wakes up without remembering the man's face, only that there was someone else there. Ric seems to wish he hadn't been prepared for rain that day -- what with the glaring overcoat on his arm & all. Alexis goes into Cameron's office and asks him if he will write up a summary of the events of the day. She then tells him he might be called as a potential witness. Alexis nervously asks him if it is conceivable for a rational person to snap suddenly and do something irrational. He says yes and that they will likely spend the rest of their life regretting it. She asks if that is what happened to him when his son died. Cameron tells Alexis about his son, Alexander. He discusses how his parents are from Port Charles & he used to bring the boys there when they were small. He talks about how when his son died he gave up his practice, went back to school, did his psychiatric residency and became a psychiatrist. Cameron accuses Alexis of hiding behind feminist diatribe while she calls him a misogynist. He leaves. She is angry; gets a paper cut. Zander shows up
and hands her the envelope from Ned. She opens it and says he has gone too far. Alexis goes to Faith's to discuss things with Ned, who emerges from the bathroom in a towel.

January 10, 2003
Alexis shows up at Faith's hotel room. She sees Ned in a towel and suggests he put on some clothes. When Faith asks why her relationship with Ned should concern Alexis, she tells her she would be concerned about any woman who thinks it is a good idea to have sex on the pier in the middle of winter with the father of her child. Alexis tells Ned if he continues to try to see Kristina
she will fight him in family court. He threatens her. She leaves and Faith calls her a witch. Outside of Kelly's, Cameron comes upon saddened Alexis sitting on a bench. When he asks her what is wrong now, she says that Ned is trying to take Kristina away from her. Alexis tells Cameron all the ways Ned threatened her. She then asks him not to blame her. He tells her that if what she says is true, of course he is on her side. He then brings things back to himself & says
no one deserves to lose a child. Alexis tells Cameron everything she has ever done has been for her daughter. She hurries off to see Kristina.

January 13, 2003
Alexis is told by the doctor that Kristina is progressing just fine. She then tells the doctor not to let Ned anywhere near the baby. Alexis and Cameron meet up at the hospital after she called him. He tells her she is ignoring what is best for Kristina. She tells him this is her issue, not his. Alexis tells Ned she is concerned about his motives in claiming Kristina. He says he might just tell Sonny the truth. Alexis tells Ned she should have spoken with him before she cut off his visitation. She asks why he is trying o force his way into the life of a child that is not even his. He says that Kristina is his in every way that matters. Ned says he only has Kristina's best interests at heart. Alexis looks revolted. She says she knows he would never intentionally do anything to hurt her or the baby because they have a past. He says she has to accept that he is going to be a part of the baby's life. She says she just wants to be logical about this. He plays on her fears and says all the worst things that Sonny would do to get at the baby. Alexis cries as she listens to Ned's threats. He ends by asking her who she would prefer as the baby's father -- Sonny or him. Ned holds the baby. He tells Kristina he will never, ever let her down. Alexis rolls her eyes heavenward.

January 14, 2003
Alexis steps out of the courthouse and tells Brenda she needs to consult her attorney before she does anything. Alexis tells Brenda to keep her mouth shut about the Ric thing because it is the perfect partner killer scenario looking for a place to happen, if Scott can prove anything. Cameron shows up at Kelly's where Alexis has just retrieved her lost mitten (the one she lost on
the night she went into labor, coincidentally). Zander watches them through the window, talking. Alexis tells Cameron that before Ned changed she would not have minded him being a part of her daughter's life, but now she is just worried about what kind of influence he will be on her.

January 15, 2003
At the PCPD Ric tells Scott nothing while Alexis tells Taggert she wants a continuance. Sonny asks Alexis to take Jason's case. He tells her she always does the right thing and he knows she will now, as well. Sonny goes in to see Ric. When he emerges Scott goads Alexis by reminding her that Brenda set in motion the events leading to her sister's death. Alexis tells him she does
not need to be reminded. At the courthouse Scott tries to push all of Alexis' buttons re: Sonny's involvement in Kristina's death. She is clearly angry at him. At the courthouse Jax comes running in while the judge asks Alexis where her clients are. Alexis tries to stall. Jason, Courtney & Sonny come rushing in. The judge asks him where his wife is.

January 16, 2003
In the courtroom everyone listens as Taggert relates what he knows. Jax and Sonny take off. Scott says this better not be a trick. The judge grants a recess. Alexis suggests to Jason that he should go and be with his wife. Edward tells Jason that if there is anything he can do to help, he should let him know. Alexis comes to the hospital; her cell phone rings; she gives it to Gia to deal with. It is Zander. She learns he has been arrested. Gia hangs up and tells Alexis but Alexis tells her she does not have time to deal with it, and suggests if Gia wants to go down to the PCPD to handle things, she can. Sonny bursts in and wants to know what is going on. Alexis tells him details are sketchy and moves off. At the hospital Alexis asks Jason if this whole thing is a set-up by Sonny & him. He says no. He goes in to see Brenda and orders all other visitors leave. Sonny asks Jax what Brenda pressed into his hand. In the courtroom Alexis begs for more time but Scott insists on pushing forward, with or without Brenda.

January 17, 2003
The judge tells Alexis the trial will start in twenty minutes. At the courthouse Alexis asks Sonny if he knows what is on the tape. She then tells Jason to try not to look like the icy remorseless killer that he is. Alexis makes mincemeat of AJ on the stand. In the courtroom Alexis is throwing questions at Skye, rapid-fire. She at one point asks her if the sex with Luis was good or not! Skye ends up freaking out and breaking down. The jury is shown a tape of Brenda trying to stab Alcazar once before. Alexis objects. The courtroom reacts.

January 20, 2003
Despite Alexis' protestations the judge refuses to declare a mistrial or allow her to examine heretofore unseen evidence which puts her client in a bad light. She has no clue what to do. Alexis tries to implore Jason to take the stand. She tells him she KNOWS he is NOT guilty which is WHY she agreed to represent him for this, and that both he and Brenda have to testify or they do not have a prayer.

January 21, 2003
Alexis tells Carly she needs to see Sonny. She enters the penthouse. Carly says Michael is sick. Carly finds out Kristina needs an operation; she is taking her to Johns Hopkins. "Kristina needs this surgery; it's up to me when it happens. I'm choosing now." Carly freaks out. Alexis says she does not expect Carly to understand. Carly immediately accuses Alexis of doing this deliberately. Sonny comes in to see Carly railing on Alexis. Sonny says, "This is wrong, Alexis. You shouldn't have taken the case if you knew you weren't going to be able to follow through. You have a responsibility now." Alexis tells him her responsibility is her child, which comes before anything else, and that he of all people should understand that. She tells him she will make herself available to the person who takes over, but she has to leave. She pushes out the door past Jason who asks why she is upset. Jason tells Sonny that it does not matter because he & Brenda are leaving town.

January 24, 2003
Ric asks his caller if she killed Alcazar. She again tells him she wants to meet on the docks. Cut to the docks. Ric and his mystery woman, face shrouded in a cloak, are talking. Ric wonders if this is a set-up. The mystery woman says it is not; when asked why she chose him, she says she had to tell someone. She then reveals she is the killer.

January 27, 2003
On the docks, the woman tells Ric she killed Alcazar. She says she is going to touch him and that he ought not to make any sudden moves. She shoves a ziploc baggie into his arm and tells him it is a piece of her coat -- stained with Luis' blood from when they struggled that night on the balcony. Ric tells the woman that any evidence obtained this way will be considered tainted and that she has to come forward. He says she obviously wants justice done, but she takes off before much more is said.

January 29, 2003
Alexis, looking awesome and well-rested, tells Scott she is back to ensure this farce ends today. Taggert hands Alexis the case file with the proof that the blood-stained coat matches Alcazar's DNA. Alexis approaches the defendant's table. Jason tells Brenda he does not trust Alexis and does not want her representing him because she bailed before. Brenda explained it was because
of her baby; he agrees to let Alexis represent them. They are sentenced to twenty-two years to life in jail. Carly tells Alexis it's just like her to return when things start to look better. She says Kristina is fine and thanks her for asking. In court the judge vacates all charges against Brenda & Jason. The courtroom claps.

January 30, 2003
Cameron kicks down the door of Alexis' home when he hears her scream the word "no". He bursts inside and she is embarrassed to tell him that she was dreaming. She gestures to the wind chimes sitting on the coffee table and tells him that she must have bought them in New York because she found them in her suitcase, but that she doesn't remember buying them, and asks him how that is for distracted. Alexis is surprised when Cameron notices that the wind chimes are not exactly her style. She admits they are like nails on a chalk board; they drive her nuts. She said she finds that less disturbing than the fact she has been sleepwalking again. She knows she has been doing this because she always locks the chain on a door and she locked it in the hotel when she went to bed, but when she woke up it was not locked and her robe was elsewhere. Scott tells Alexis he wants her case files on the Alcazar murder. He then asks her who she thinks did it and if she will defend them. She says it depends on three things: they would have to request her services; her daughter comes first; and she would make the time if she found out he railroaded another innocent person. Alexis sits in the hospital lounge rocking Kristina. She switches between referring to herself in the third person and the first person. Cameron calls her name several times but being in a trance-like state she does not seem to hear him.

January 31, 2003
Alexis is talking to Kristina. Cameron approaches and speaks to her but she takes no notice. When she snaps out of it she is surprised to be holding Kristina and wonders where she is. Cameron wonders why Alexis did not respond when she said her name. She says next time she promises to stand up & salute. He then asks her if she usually refers to herself in the third person and she makes a lame joke about it. She then takes off and he tells a doctor to tell Alan that he will be late for the staff meeting. Cameron follows Alexis to the cemetery. She unearths the snow from Kristina's gravestone (Kristina Cassadine 1973-2002) and says she is doing the best she can and she will try not to disappoint her. After Alexis leaves Cameron chooses not to follow her, but instead to look at whose gravestone she was talking to. A delivery boy brings several boxes tied with a ribbon to Alexis' apartment. Cameron watches him leave and hovers outside, unseen. Boxes from Wyndham's strewn all around her, the camera pans up. We see denim-clad legs, a shawl around the waist, and a shot from behind of a woman with long red hair. Cameron pounds on the door screaming for Alexis to open up. We see a hand holding a mirror and a woman applying a MAC Walnut liner to her lips answering "Alexis doesn't live here anymore."

February 3, 2003
Alexis in the red wig announces that Cameron doesn't seem to realize Alexis doesn't live here anymore. Cameron threatens to break down the door if she does not open it so she opens it while wearing a bathrobe. She says she was about to take a shower and he can supervise if he wants to. Alexis reemerges, having changed back into her clothes. Cameron wants her to tell him what she did all day; he tells her he followed her, and invites her to have dinner with him so he does not feel the need to follow her further. Cameron tells Alexis he knows who she blames for her sister's death but that he knows little about the person. She tells him about her sister in a very tight-close up, and then he asks why she blames herself for her death. Zander comes upon Alexis and Cameron talking. She has just told him how Kristina went to the warehouse to tell Sonny something on the night Luis Alcazar chose to blow it up. Zander tells Cameron to leave him alone. Alexis learns Zander is his son. She is stunned. She then turns to Cameron and tells him that Zander has been in Port Charles for years; he has worked for the mob; he has been shot twice; and btw, before he sets about giving HER parenting advice he should fix his relationship with his son. She leaves and Cameron accuses Zander of loving to make him look bad. Zander tells him Alexis is a close friend. On the docks Ned sees Alexis from behind, dressed like Kristina. He calls to her but she runs and hides. He seems puzzled.

February 4, 2004
Ned asks Liz if a redhead has been in Kelly's. Cameron overhears and looks at the picture of Kristina he pulls from his wallet and questions further. Alexis watches from the window. Cameron tells Ned that everyone could do with some more sleep. Ned leaves. Alexis watches him leave and then enters Kelly's. She and Cameron discuss Zander. She tells Cameron that in his absence, his son was using Sonny Corinthos as a father figure. He is not impressed by her reference. Cameron and Alexis continue to dodge each other's questions. They talk about the respective dead people in their lives and Cameron wants to know if she is dressing like her sister at all. He wants to blame the wind chimes. Cameron and Alexis are talking when his cell phone rings. He answers "Cameron" and then announces Skye's predicament. He leaves quickly; Alexis is left alone, her eyes narrowing. Alexis shows up at the suite of death. Cameron only gets out about two sentences of psycho babble when Jax shows up and he leaves.

February 10, 2003
Alexis wonders why Cameron is calling her by her sister's name. Cameron realizes she does not know about the wig. He picks up a strand and shows it to her. She asks him what is happening to her. Alexis tells Cameron the last thing she remembers is being at Kelly's with him. The entire scene with Ned and Faith is erased from her mind. She wants to know what is happening to her. Cameron says he will help her and that they have to go to GH for tests. He tells her he wants to do an MRI and she questions whether she might have a brain tumor before they take off. Cameron brings up multiple personality disorder as a possible theory and Alexis dismisses it as ridiculous. She also refuses to acknowledge that a childhood trauma is responsible for her symptoms. At the hospital Alexis thanks Skye for coming. She leaves to visit one of Kristina's
doctors and as she walks away Skye has a flashback of Alexis being the woman she saw in Luis Alcazar's suite.

February 11, 2003
Skye has a flashback and remembers Alexis was in the suite too. Felicia shows up at the hospital and asks Skye what she remembers (Jax has hired her). Alexis is curious too. Skye does not know quite how to react. Felicia pumps Skye for information; is there anything else she remembers? When she says no Alexis looks at her in a very interesting manner. Felicia leaves; Skye leaves ostensibly to go to a meeting. Alexis has another interesting facial expression. Cameron tells Alexis she has no physical ailment and that the whole thing must be psychological.

February 12, 2003
Alexis tells Cameron she is used to seeing this place filled with candles; her sister loved aromatherapy. She tells him her sister was innately happy. She says she does not want to be there and Cameron asks who she will be when she picks Kristina up. Cameron slips the scarf and coat off of Alexis who seems to have decided to stay. Alexis tells Cameron that Helena slit her mother's throat: she was there. Alexis tells Cameron a bit about her past. He asks if she told Kristina about her baby's father and she says she wrote her a letter; wrote it in a letter, and she found out. Alexis becomes increasingly upset and as this occurs, we hear the sound of chimes. She jumps into feng shui mode and moves the candelabra. Cameron asks if she is Kristina now. Alexis is going full-blast feng shui in the room. She mentions how she helps her sister cleanse her aura. She says she helps to filter out her toxins. Cam asks if he is a toxin and she says he is getting there. He asks if she has filtered anyone out lately and when she says yes he asks if his name was Alcazar. Kristina does not give Cameron a straight answer about whether she killed Alcazar or not. Instead, she switches back to Alexis mode and tells him that just because he calls Kristina's name does not mean she will come out and talk to him. He says she already did and they had a substantial conversation while Alexis wants to know what was said. Alexis snaps at Cameron and tells him he has three seconds to leave. He does, the chimes sound and she raises her head in a self-satisfied look.

February 13, 2003
At the hospital, Bobbie tells Alexis she cannot take the baby home because of doctor's orders. She looks around and realizes that Cameron is the one who gave those orders. Cameron tells Alexis she cannot take her baby home. Alexis
grows angry and switches into Kristina mode and tells him it is wrong to keep a mother from her child. At the hospital Kristina/Alexis tells Cameron that he better let Alexis have that baby. Kristina/Alexis tells Cameron that while they are grateful he saved them and the baby in the park, he needs to stop pursuing this or else she will have to hurt him. Alexis comes out of it and Cameron tells her what her alter said. Alexis is told to keep a diary and then she will know if she is losing time and if Kristina makes an appearance. Cameron tells her he will tell the hospital staff she has postpartum depression. Felicia and Cameron meet. Cameron tells Felicia about Alexis' medical condition, and about how he thinks Kristina/Alexis killed Alcazar. Kristina/Alexis listens unobserved in the shadows.

February 14, 2003
Cameron hovers in the background as Alexis/Kristina moves in on Ned. She tells him she is glad he didn't bring the blonde and that she missed him. She also adds that he should tell her whatever the blonde does for him -- she will do it better! Alexis/Kristina tries to make out with Ned some more but he is led into the Versailles room. Cameron snakes an arm around her waist and tells Kristina she is coming with him. On the docks Kristina/Alexis suggests that Cameron got a little turned on listening to her flirt with Ned and perhaps he brought her down there to be alone with her. He suggests it is the perfect time since Alexis won't remember a thing when she comes back. Kristina/Alexis tells him that Alexis might not ever be coming back. Alexis/Kristina asks Cameron if he had a thing for her older sister. He says they were friends. She tells him sometimes that's how things start. She corrects him when he mentions that Alcazar fell 13 stories to his death (it was 14), and then tells him she killed him. Alexis tells Cameron that she was the one who met with Ric on the docks; she knew Alexis wouldn't want someone else to pay for her crime. (She neglects to mention why Skye's voice matched on the tape Scotty got). She then tells him that she stabbed Alcazar with a knife that looked a lot like this one -- as she extracts a knife from her purse. She holds it under his chin and tells him that they have two choices: the secret dies with him or he agrees to keep it.
