April 3, 2002
Alexis goes downstairs to talk to Sonny, ostensibly about the case. She pulls up a chair and offers him a paper bag. He wants her to go away. He tells her to shut up. She appears to leave, but when he calls out for her, she returns to him. He's having trouble focusing on her words and on the room, but he listens as she enlightens him on how she first began having panic attacks, and what she's done to stop it over the years. He tells her what it was like to take his mother to the ballet. He tells her that it helps having her there. She wonders if, on any of her trips to the ballet, she saw a beautiful Cuban woman with her son. She says no; she would've remembered him. He tells her he would've remembered her, too. Taggert shows up and frees him.

April 5, 2002
WARDROBE: gray London Fog trench coat. Alexis questions Skye. It becomes clear that Skye can't tie Sonny to the boathouse in any way. At the PCPD Skye tries to attack Sonny. Alexis and Sonny leave the PCPD and Carly stops them. Back at the penthouse, Sonny grabs Alexis' arm as she's about to leave and tells Carly to thank her for Michael. Alexis tells him she's going across the hall so she can bill him. Alexis opens the door of her penthouse and sees Sonny who tells her that she's the only person he can trust.

April 8, 2002
Alexis tells Sonny they've grown to have a unique relationship and she hopes they always will. Jax walks in and finds Sonny and Alexis together. He tells Sonny that he wants to ensure AJ remains unharmed. Sonny says that Skye already turned that offer down. Alexis disapproves of the way Sonny treats Jax. She tells him that Jax is her friend.

April 9, 2002
Kristina tells Alexis she feels as though Nikolas has done something awful. Alexis tries to reassure her. They learn Helena's been captured. They all head to the PCPD to watch. Alexis asks Nikolas if he's all right. Alexis goes to Wyndemere to check on Nikolas and he yells at her.

April 10, 2002
WARDROBE: glasses; charcoal blazer and pants; satin yellow/gray pinstriped blouse. Alexis tells Sonny they can trust Jax. Alexis tells Sonny she's committed to him. She says that he's not the Houdini of the justice system. He finds an eyelash on her face and tells her to make a wish on it. Alexis is e-mailed a photo of Courtney in bed but it disappears before she can use it to trace where it came from. Ned tells Alexis Courtney's whereabouts but implores her not to tell Sonny.

April 11, 2002
WARDROBE: black skort; 3/4 length sleeve coral shirt. Sonny asks Alexis point-blank if she knows where AJ took his sister. Alexis tells him. She then tells Ned she did what she thought was right. Ned can't forgive her. Alexis convinces Sonny to allow her to help him find Courtney and AJ.

April 12, 2002
Alexis and Sonny are on the plane waiting to land. She drums on her glasses. Sonny won't speak to her. She tells him she thinks he should kill AJ. Sonny explains more about his past and his mother. He tells her if he doesn't take care of his family, what kind of man is he? Alexis tells him perhaps he shouldn't do anything until he knows the facts. Sonny barges into AJ and Courtney's room. He drags AJ out to the terrace. He almost pushes him over until Courtney begs him not to hurt her husband.

April 15, 2002
Sonny lets AJ go. Jax, Skye and Ned burst through the doors. All are surprised that there's been a wedding. Sonny takes a step back and moves to speak to Alexis alone. He tells her about Deke and Adella's wedding. He promises he'll find a way to end it between his sister and AJ. AJ tells Courtney that he'll try to make peace. Courtney is told that everyone came there on her behalf.

April 16, 2002
Alexis wants to make the best of a bad situation; she doesn't want to leave until they know she's safe. Jax tells Skye that he knows AJ offered Courtney for Michael. Alexis tells Sonny he did the right thing. Sonny dances with Courtney.

April 18, 2002
Sonny welcomes AJ into the family. AJ and Sonny hug. Ned photographs the reception. They make a toast; Sonny touches Alexis' back. She tells him she doesn't want to play cards. They do play, and she realizes he's cheating. Montage: "Best I Ever Had" by Vertical Horizon.

April 19, 2002
Alexis comments on the fact that Sonny hurt his foot leaving the plane. She tells him he could sue himself. She can't get the door open so he helps her. She asks if something else is about to happen. Alexis and Ned scream at each other. Alexis tells the Quartermaines that AJ has committed fraud and extortion. Alexis thanks Lila. WARDROBE: navy blue pinstriped wraparound suit w/ skirt. Alexis sees Benny leaving and goes across the hall to confront Sonny about it. She tells him she understands why he's so calm.

April 22, 2002
Alexis asks Sonny if he ordered a hit on AJ. Sonny can't look her in the eye and doesn't want to tell her the truth. She explains to him that if he does this, Courtney will never forgive him, and chances are that he'll get caught. Sonny tells her it's worth it if he can get AJ away from his sister. Alexis says if he does that he'll be nothing more than a cold-hearted, consciousness killer. She tells him she's put everything on the line for him and he cannot do that to her. Sonny says that he hates needing anyone or anything, but he needs her. He calls off the hit. She tells him he should be on his hands and knees thanking her. Sonny tells her that this time he chose her -- and asks if she would choose him. He tells her that they love to dance -- but not drunk on rum in Puerto Rico, but dance around their feelings. He says he's tired of dancing. He tells her that all she has to do is walk out the door. Crying, she moves into his arms. He kisses her and she melts.

April 23, 2002
Sonny and Alexis continue kissing. They make their way upstairs. She says it's sudden. He says 'not for me', and they make love. Basking in the afterglow, Sonny reaches for the remote control and turns on the stereo. Alexis rests her head in the crook between Sonny's neck and shoulder, looking pensive. Carly enters the unlocked penthouse and is surprised to find it empty. She calls Sonny's name but there is no answer. She ascends the stairs and hears music playing. She walks towards the bedroom. Alexis and Sonny kiss. Carly observes in the mirror as the background music plays on.

April 24, 2002
Alexis and Sonny talk about the night they were shot at outside the PCPD. Carly exits. Alexis asks what ballet he saw with his mother. Sonny watches Alexis sleep. He goes downstairs and when he returns upstairs he slips into bed with her. She curls into his embrace.

April 25, 2002
Sonny catches Alexis sneaking out of bed and accuses her of leaving the scene of the crime. She asks why he's staring at her and he says he can't stop looking at her mouth. He goes downstairs to make her breakfast. Dressed in Sonny's shirt, Alexis comes downstairs. He tells her she should wear that to court. She tells him she tolerates him. Kristina shows up looking for Alexis. She tries to sneak away but she's spotted. Kristina tells Alexis she approves of her having spent the night with Sonny. Kristina leaves. Alexis eats a strawberry and Sonny tells her that's a turn-on right there. She's embarrassed. She goes upstairs to get dressed. Zander shows up and says that he thinks Carly's been killed in a car crash.

April 26, 2002
They can't find Carly and everyone is worried. Zander heads out to keep looking. Courtney shows up to wish Sonny a happy birthday. Alexis whispers happy birthday to him. Sonny accuses her of being there because of AJ. Zander calls Sonny and confirms it was indeed Carly's car.

April 29, 2002
Sonny says he has to go. Courtney tells him he's not walking out on her. Alexis takes Courtney aside and tells her she's about to educate her in the ways of Sonny. She tells her that Carly's been in an accident and there's a good chance she didn't survive and this is not the time for Courtney to rail against Sonny. She then explains how AJ wanted to trade Courtney for Michael. Courtney leaves. Alone in the penthouse, Alexis heads upstairs to retrieve her jewelry. She has flashbacks of spending the night with Sonny. Sitting down, she's resigned to the fact that it will never happen again. Montage: "You've Got A Way" by Shania Twain.

April 30, 2002
WARDROBE: red leather coat; black pants; black silver zippered shirt. Kristina gives her perfume. Alexis tells her that this has hit Sonny so hard. Sonny calls her with an update. She heads to the crash site. Montage: "My Lover's Gone" by Dido. Scott and Alexis discuss false hope and the fact that both Bobbie and Sonny seem to possess it.

May 3, 2002
WARDROBE: tan suit. Alexis tells Taggert he's a self-righteous jerk for not following up on a possible lead on Carly. Taggert tells her to go help Sonny accept reality. Alexis says that while this lead may not turn up Carly he still has to follow it. Alexis grabs the information about the lead and heads off to research it herself. In a warehouse in a bad area of town Alexis thinks she's found Carly. It's not Carly. Two people threaten her. Sonny shows up and tells her he can't lose her, too.

Sonny tells Alexis perhaps she can watch the phone while he goes out to look for Carly. He asks her to stay at the penthouse.
