WARDROBE: white sweater; white tank top; black 3/4 length skirt; white coat. Alexis goes to see Sonny where Sonny tells her that he needs to know his rights in regard to his child. When Alexis learns he knocked up Carly she exclaims, "What the hell were you thinking? To be clear, I'm not even sure I want to take on the case". Sonny states, "The responsibility is mine. This kid has a right to my love, to everything I can give it. I've been fighting all my life, but never for something that's important as this. I know what it's like to grow up without your father, in an unwanted home, as an outsider. The Quartermaines are willing (he stands up and begins pacing) to raise my kid like a stray puppy, if it means holding onto Michael. That's the situation that I'm not gonna let happen. Now, I'm responsible for conceiving this child, which means I'm responsible for raising it, giving it love, and whatever else it needs. But I will tell you something right now. I will do whatever it takes to make it safe for my child." Alexis tells Sonny, "You have possibilities". Alexis exits, and goes to the Grille to meet Ned. She tells him that Sonny wants her to file for child custody. Ned says he hopes she said no.

February 21, 2000
Alexis vehemently defends Sonny's rights to be a father while Ned defends Carly's. Alexis sadly tells him she had to wait until she read her father's will to know he loved her and no kid should ever have to wait that long. Ned and Alexis return to the penthouse to find Jax and Chloe have just been caught by Gertrude. Taggert arrests her. They exit. Alexis, Chloe, Jax and Ned realize their marriages are over and each decides to spend the night with the correct partner. Ned and Alexis discuss all the times they "slipped up" and cheated. They choose to keep "cheating" for the rest of the night together.

February 23, 2000
WARDROBE: black shirt, skirt, burgundy/pink paisley sarong skirt; black hair clip. Stefan shows up to speak with Alexis. He asks if they're alone and she looks at him quizzically and tells him they are. Alexis implores Stefan to tell Luke what's going on with Lucky. He tells her he knows best and she tells him she'll do as he wishes. Alexis visits Ned at the Grille where he tells her about Gertrude's injunction. They kiss in public for the first time in quite awhile.

February 24, 2000
WARDROBE: brown hair clip; salt and pepper coat; navy pants; long blazer; orange shirt. Alexis shows up at Sonny's penthouse and tells him that he'll have to report for DNA testing. They go over the best way for him to get at least partial custody in a mock-trial, of sorts. Sonny says: "My current residence has bullet-proof glass." Alexis interrupts him and says, "Wrong answer. You don't want to tell the judge how you're going to protect your child, you want to tell the judge how your child will never, ever be in any danger". (Note: this is an interesting scene because, four years later, when Carly and Sonny were fighting one another in court for custody, Sonny mentioned the bullet-proof glass, even though he'd been warned by Alexis, years earlier, that it only made him look like he lived in a dangerous place that was always getting shot at.) Sonny tells her about being abused as a child. She tells him that the Qs could use this against him. Sonny gets a phone call that Roy's been arrested. Alexis says she'll defend him this one time. They head to the PCPD. Alexis learns that Roy's been arrested for allegedly paying off the harbor-master. Sonny gets a call to go to the hospital and Alexis tells him she can handle it. Once alone with Roy, she tells him how odd it is that the anonymous tipster called this information in.

February 25, 2000
Alexis and Roy surmise that Taggert has been following Roy for awhile simply because he works for Sonny. Alexis and Roy banter a bit. Taggert and Dara show up with his release papers and she tells him she'll be seeing him again. Ned and Alexis show up at L&B after receiving a message from Jax to do so. Chloe demonstrates how she can see light and dark. They drink a toast, then Chloe promptly collapses.

February 28, 2000
The medics come to get Chloe and Ned tells Jax he can ride in the ambulance with her. At the hospital, Ned, Jax and Alexis meet up with Tony and discover Chloe will need surgery. Alexis asks Tony if the surgery will stop the bleeding. He says there are no guarantees, and she may wind up with permanent blindness. Jax tells them he's not going to give up hope.

February 29, 2000
Tony tells them it's too soon to know anything. All are increasingly worried about Chloe's condition. They reassure each other. Edward shows up to visit with Chloe, and to ask Alexis to come back as ELQ counsel. In a heartbeat she realizes this is a way for him to get her to stop working for Sonny. She tells him she just wants to wrap up the custody case first. Edward is dismayed. Chloe wakes up, able to see them.

March 1, 2000
Chloe wakes up and tells them she can see. She reassures everyone that she's fine and thanks Alexis for having taken such good care of Jax in her absence. She then asks Ned to take Alexis somewhere to celebrate. Later, in bed, Ned tells Alexis that while this marriage fiasco didn't turn out the way they thought, it doesn't matter because he has two friends from the deal. Alexis tells him she feels the same way. They reiterate their love for one another.

March 2, 2000
WARDROBE: long gray suit, coral skirt. Stefan tells Alexis that he found Lucky. Alexis says the Spencers must be happy. Stefan admits he hasn't told them quite yet. Alexis is horrified. Stefan also tells her he's lost track of Helena. Alexis can't believe that he knows Lucky is alive and hasn't bothered telling Lucky's parents. Stefan tells her he has a plan. She thinks it will backfire. Alexis shows up at Sonny's penthouse. She tells him that Edward's restraining order is hard to shake, but the paternity tests prove he's the father of Carly's baby. Sonny takes off and leaves Alexis alone in his penthouse. Alexis is surprised to see Luke's back in town. She tells him that she's actually there to see Roy. He's concerned that Roy's in trouble. She tells him that Helena tried to kill her but got Chloe instead. He asks how Stefan took it.

March 6, 2000
Alexis brushes Chloe's hair as Chloe puts on lipstick. Chloe remarks on Alexis' ring. She says it's not an engagement ring -- it's just a token of how much love she and Ned have for one another. Alexis heads to Wyndemere where she tells Stefan that the authorities will think he is responsible for kidnapping Lucky. Stefan says that Lucky will tell them otherwise. Nikolas shows up and tells Stefan he's very angry that yet again the truth was kept from him.

March 7, 2000
Alexis tells Nikolas that Stefan was indeed trying to do the right thing. Nikolas wishes that just once he'd chosen to share the truth with him. When Alexis tries to defend her brother, Nikolas rails out at her. He says he's staying away from this family permanently. Nikolas leaves.

March 10, 2000
WARDROBE: black big-buttoned suit w/ 2 buttons on sleeves; long jacket.
Jax' parents show up and they have to explain that their marriage was a sham. His parents tell him they're flattered that their happiness meant so much but it really doesn't matter if they stay married because they already think of Alexis as a daughter-in-law. Alone with Jane, she tells Alexis that whether their marriage was real or not, she really helped Jax get over Brenda. The women embrace. Later, Ned shows up at the penthouse with Chloe. Each pair leaves with the one they love.

March 14, 2000
WARDROBE: plum buttoned dressy suit. Alexis visits Stefan in order to give him some legal advice -- Mac has forbidden him to leave town because he's the main suspect in Lucky's kidnapping. Alexis is enraged on Stefan's behalf. She can't believe that, given how much Stefan sacrificed for her, Laura still doesn't believe him or side with him. He tells her that he's going to tell Laura the truth, and then go try to find Lucky. He caresses her cheek and then exits. Ned shows up at Alexis' suite and tells her that AJ ruined ELQ and managed to lose Carly and Michael in the process. She tells him about Lucky being alive. Alexis tells Ned she's going to be representing Stefan. Ned is not thrilled. He notices that she's not wearing Jax' ring anymore and asks if she'd consider moving his ring to the other finger - i.e. -- becoming engaged. She says yes and they realize, happily, that they're going to be married.

March 16, 2000
WARDROBE: long gray shiny tweed-like suit; white silk blouse. Alexis phones Stefan and invites him to get his butt back to Port Charles immediately, as Mac is looking for him. She slams down the phone and then Mac shows up. He asks where Stefan is, and Stefan shows up, right on cue. Mac says he hopes that Stefan hasn't been investigating Helena's disappearance. Stefan insults the PCPD. Mac leaves. Stefan tells Alexis he has to find Lucky before any further moves can be made.

March 20, 2000
Alexis finds Ned at the Grille and asks what's wrong. He tells her he just stopped AJ from ordering a drink. She asks if he wants to go find him and Ned says no. Alexis tells Ned she hasn't fallen under Sonny's spell -- she just thinks he deserves the chance to be a father. Ned gets a call that Chloe's condition can be treated. Alexis tells Ned that she just wants to drop the whole Sonny issue and he says that's fine.

March 22, 2000
WARDROBE: chocolate brown suit w/pockets on front of skirt; brown shirt. Ned announces he'll have to shut down L&B if they keep losing money. Alexis suggests Ned go back on the road but he'd rather go back to ELQ and take Edward up on his offer to underwrite everything. They begin making out but stop when Elizabeth shows up. Nikolas shows up soon after and says the promoter wants Eddie Maine. Ned is told this tour could save the company from bankruptcy.

March 23, 2000
WARDROBE: coral suit w/ pants. Alexis shows up to give Jax the divorce papers in person. Chloe leaves so they can do it themselves. He insists she file against him. She asks if perhaps he's moving Chloe in a little too quickly. He says she sounds like his mother. She admits she's been talking to Jane. Alexis tells him as much as she likes Chloe, she doesn't think it's the best idea to have her move in there quite so quickly. Jax tells her he respects her opinion, but he wants Chloe there. Alexis decides not to argue anymore. She says she's going to miss this place. He says he'll miss her. One last time she says, "goodbye husband" to which he replies, "goodbye wife".

March 27, 2000
At the PCPD, Mac tells Stefan he's being arrested. Dara says she's sick of the Cassadines and all the mayhem they bring to this town. Alexis tells Stefan not to say a word. She heads off to chat with Dara et al.

March 28, 2000
WARDROBE: blue skirt w/ butterfly; lime sweater set. Alexis and Ned meet up with Jax and Chloe at the penthouse. They talk about how to go about filing for divorce. Ned leaves with Chloe. Alone with Jax, Alexis tells him she'd like to cook for him one last time. Jax remarks on her ring and she says it's a commitment ring, not an engagement ring. She tells him she's really worried about the fact that Ned's been married so many times. They discuss how they can learn not to hurt the people that they love.

March 29, 2000
After Jax snaps, Alexis reassures Chloe that he gets like this. Her advice is to "just love him". She says she can do that. WARDROBE: black robe. Ned returns to find Alexis has lit candles on every conceivable surface. Alexis tells Ned she's really worried that they're going to screw this up. He reassures her. He tells her they're in no rush to be married. She's grateful.

April 6, 2000
WARDROBE: plum buttoned dressy suit. Alexis shows up at Wyndemere to see Stefan. He's looking through photos of Laura and asks Alexis if she seems happy in them. Stefan is angry that Alexis couldn't build a stronger case against Helena in the three weeks she's had to do so. He says he's going to bring Laura's son home for her.

April 11, 2000
WARDROBE: lime sherbet-colored satin blouse and skirt; triangular necklace. Alexis, Chloe, Jax and Ned all sit down beside the wrong partners, laugh about it, and switch seats. They discuss how much they all want revenge on Edward. Tammy and Mike show up and Alexis, Chloe, Jax and Ned tell them that they've started divorce proceedings but that everyone is happy about it. Tammy and Mike think they're weird. Jax and Ned leave to use their cell phones; Chloe and Alexis are left alone. They discuss Chloe's medication. WARDROBE: black satin pajamas w/ flowered embroidery. Alone with Ned, Alexis tells Ned she can't believe that Jax let Chloe cancel their trip to Russia. Ned asks if she knows which ELQ company he is going after. They talk about the fact that Jax is waging war with Edward simply because it's the only way he can fight.

April 12, 2000
WARDROBE: plum peasant blouse. Stefan informs Alexis that Helena is in British Columbia awaiting extradition. She's thrilled. She feels bad for Stefan when he tells her that Laura went off somewhere with Luke and could care less about him. Nikolas trips through the door, demanding someone tell him where Lucky is. He says he doesn't know. Alexis exits. Alexis heads to L&B where Ned informs her he just spend L&B's last $10,000 on computers. Neither knew they cost so much. Ned realizes that only Eddie Maine can save his company.

April 14, 2000
WARDROBE: gray tweed coat, black v-neck dress. Bobbie tells Alexis that the FBI put Roy back in prison and that she'd like her to get him released. Bobbie tells her that Roy was sent to get information on Sonny and when he blew his cover on purpose, he was put away again. She tells Bobbie to talk to Hannah. Later, at the hospital, Alexis tells Stefan that Helena will be released soon if evidence isn't provided on her.

April 18, 2000
WARDROBE: black v-neck sweater; jeans. (Note: Nancy has a cold). Alexis and Chloe return from a brisk walk wherein Alexis is gasping for air. They discuss Chloe's strange dreams, and her continuing headaches. Chloe says sometimes she's glad when Jax just leaves her alone so she can have her headache and not put on a brave front. She says she wasn't supposed to go blind. Alexis hugs her and tells her that she won't.

April 21, 2000.
WARDROBE: lavender satin dress and matching bolero. Alexis asks Ned if he's tried on the leather pants yet. He says he's not worried about them fitting. Alexis gets a call from Bobbie and agrees to meet her at the hospital. Sonny shows up with Carly, who's hungry. Alexis privately tells Sonny that Bobbie's worried about her friend. Sonny tells her to do whatever she can and he'll pick up the tab. She says she's not asking him to do that; she just wants him to know that his friend is in trouble. Alexis goes to meet Bobbie at the hospital where she tells her how scared she is that Roy will die in prison.

April 24, 2000
Alexis, Chloe, Jax and Ned engage in a surprise bon voyage party. They drink a toast to one another and Alexis says she's jealous that Chloe gets to visit Russia while she's stuck in Port Charles. Back in Alexis' room, "Love Will Have The Last Word" is played while Ned and Alexis dance. She giggles amorously when he kisses her neck.

April 25, 2000
WARDROBE: powder blue sweater set w/ruffle; black mid-length embroidered skirt. Alexis and Stefan discuss their impending meeting with Dr. Gladstone -- the doctor who held Lucky. He suggests that brainwashing may be possible. He says they can call him with any future questions. They wonder why Helena did this -- what she hoped to get out of it.

April 26, 2000
Ned and Alexis are having simultaneous phone conversations while in the room together. Alexis, deciding she's had enough, writes a note for Ned telling him to tell the caller that he's needed in the next room. Ned plays his guitar as Alexis works on her laptop. Suddenly Stefan shows up and informs her that Dr. Gladstone is missing. Ned interrupts and tells Stefan that Alexis is not allowed to risk her life for him one more time. Alexis asks when he became her keeper. Ned says it's too dangerous and he won't lose her because of Stefan. She tearfully tells him no one has ever loved her like he does and it means everything to her.
