November 25, 1998
Ned and Alexis return from Monte Carlo. Although they'd prefer to spend the night together, both realize they have familial obligations instead.

November 30, 1998
Alexis walks into her suite after Ned leaves and is startled to find Luke there, calling her hot lips. Alexis is perturbed that Luke made a mess of her place. Suddenly there's a knock at the door and Alexis is afraid that Ned has returned. She panics and tells Luke he's got to hide. Alexis informs him that Stefan has been "busy with other things".

December 3, 1998
WARDROBE: brown wraparound 3/4 length skirt, black shirt. Luke shows up to see Alexis at Kelly's where he tells her that he thinks Stefan knows about his part in Katherine's would-be murder... but probably doesn't know about her part... yet. Alexis decides she's going to tell Stefan before he finds out from someone else but Luke implores her not to. Luke tells her that he's never had a partner with as many twitches as she has. Alexis tries to reassure Luke about his marriage but he really doesn't want to hear it from her.

December 4, 1998
Alexis returns to her suite to find Luke ensconced there. She is displeased. Luke puts Stefan down; Alexis stands up for her brother. Alexis suggests that Luke should go home to his wife.

December 9, 1998
WARDROBE: white cotton blouse; pinstriped long black suit. Alexis and Ned are eating when Emily and Nikolas show up. They chat awhile; the teenagers leave. Alexis tells Ned that Emily is a very impressive young woman.

December 10, 1998
WARDROBE: black suit. Alexis shows up to visit Jax at his penthouse. She tells him that she needs his sprockets. He calls her Wile E. Coyote and implores her to make that sound. She makes it but he still doesn't want to part with the company. Alexis trades use of the ELQ jet for a month to Jax in exchange for the sprocket deal to go through.

December 16, 1998
WARDROBE: black wraparound buttoned dress. Alexis tells Ned that she got Jax to part with ACME sprockets. Ned tells her that he owes her big-time and flips her over. WARDROBE: black silk nightgown; robe with vine design. Alexis has to tell Ned what he gave Jax in exchange for ACME. He is not impressed. V shows up to interrupt. Alexis changes her clothes and then comes out to support V's idea that Ned ought to play at the Outback. When Ned refuses, V tells him she'll find someone better. She leaves and Alexis tells Ned he was a little hard on V. He says he knows that.

December 18, 1998
WARDROBE: red sheer dress. Alexis tells Ned that it's possible that V's discovery will turn out to be really good. Ned scoffs. V ascends the stage and introduces Chicago. Ned is stunned. They sing "If You Leave Me Now" and "O Come All Ye Faithful". Afterwards, Ned seems sort of sad that he didn't have to perform. V brightens his spirits when she tells him that she booked him in a club in January.

December 24, 1998
WARDROBE: silver-gray suit; silver stretchy shirt. Alexis finds Luke at her door. She lets him come in. He calls her hot lips and she grimaces. Luke gives her the key to the kingdom and says "Feliz Navidad, Natasha." Alexis is stunned by the news that Nikolas is not the prince; not the heir; not Stefan's son. Mistletoe montage finds Ned showing up on Alexis' door.

December 29, 1998
Jax shows up at the gatehouse, angry because of Ned's latest stunt. Ned shows up, angry because of the latest run-in with his family. V and Alexis try to keep the peace but fighting erupts anew when the boys learn they're supposed to be auctioned off at Katherine's fund-raiser. Ned says both of them will go.

December 30, 1998
WARDROBE: black sheet dress with lace collar & lace bodice. Alexis and Ned show up for the auction. Ned ascends the stage. V winds up winning Ned while Alexis is stuck with AJ. At midnight everyone is allowed to return to their respective partners and Ned and Alexis share a kiss.

January 4, 1999
WARDROBE: purple vined coat. Alone on the docks, Jax returns the key Luke gave to Alexis. He asks if she's seen his brother and she says no. When asked about her evening with AJ, Alexis tells him that AJ believes the weak shall inherit the earth. Jax corrects AJ's misquote -- it's the meek who shall inherit. He then explains the difference to Alexis. She turns to go, but stops and asks him if he still specializes in hostile takeovers. He asks if she is referring to Cassadine Industries. Alexis runs into Helena at the Grille and tells her to enjoy her freedom while she can because it's almost over.

January 5, 1999
Alexis tells Helena that behind her back, Stavros used to call her Mother Ugliness. Helena doesn't believe her. Alexis vows revenge on Helena before leaving. Alexis shows up to see Stefan and tells him that she wants what's fair, what's right, what's hers.

January 6, 1999
Stefan, deciding not to beat around the bush, tells her that she obviously knows that Nikolas is his son. She says that she does. Stefan tells her that he and Laura told Nikolas the truth earlier. Alexis seems hurt. She goes on to tell him the reason this family is in jeopardy is because he didn't trust her with the truth. She tells him this is about feeling like nothing; like someone without any identity. She tells him she can be as ruthless as any Cassadine -- after all, she is her father's daughter.

January 19, 1999
WARDROBE: v-neck black dress. Alexis and Ned dine at the Grille; she can't help but watch Stefan out of the corner of her eye the whole time despite Ned asking her to stop. Ned asks her what went wrong this time between her and Stefan. She feels uncomfortable discussing it, but he presses. She declines to answer but a few well-placed questions, and her lack of concrete answers leads Ned to the truth in an uncharacteristically quick manner. Ned suggests she wander down the aisles of the Cassadine supermarket and decide what she wants.

January 28, 1999
WARDROBE: long black blazer; pants. On the docks, staring at Wyndemere, Alexis pulls out her cell phone and calls Jax. He invites her to come over and she agrees. Alexis shows up, puts her glasses on, and tells him she made a list of which Cassadine holdings she believes can be raided most easily. Jax shoots her down immediately because he thinks it's a set-up. Alexis realizes she's going to have to tell him the truth to get him to do what she wants. She tells him the minimal amount of truth necessary to get him to agree to help. She leaves to meet with Stefan on the docks. He tells her that someone has been researching the Cassadine financial holdings. She tells him it wasn't her but he thinks she's lying. She tells him that even while they were on good terms, he kept her at arm's length when it came to the family purse and knowledge about it.

February 1, 1999
WARDROBE: black suit. Alexis is dining alone at the Grille when Sonny walks up and introduces himself. Cocky, self-assured and sure he's right, he asks her to take Jason's case. She says no. He thinks she'll change her mind. Jax shows up and sees them together and immediately turns tail and exits. Sonny and Jax discuss Alexis.

February 3, 1999
Alexis walks up to Katherine who's having a drink at the Grille. Alexis and Katherine agree that Stefan and Laura's relationship is distasteful. Katherine asks Alexis if she's given Ned a time limit on their relationship, to which Alexis counters that at least some people don't have to drink alone. Ned meets up with Alexis on the docks and tells her it's a pleasure to be summoned by her in the afternoon. She tells him that she's enlisted Jax's help in getting her fortune back. Ned isn't happy about this but softens when she tells him she'll keep him updated on the situation at every turn.

February 4, 1999
Luke shows up to see Alexis and wonders why she seemingly hasn't done anything with the information he gave her about the Cassadines. Alexis tells him she had all her meals with the kitchen staff; she knows precisely what it's like to be an outsider. Jax shows up and Alexis is embarrassed to be seen with Luke. After Luke leaves, Jax tells her he expects her to tell him why Luke is part of the mix or else he's going to walk. Alexis tells him that Luke was the one who told her that Nikolas was Stefan's son. Jax wants Jerry to be part of the deal but Alexis balks.

February 5, 1999
Alexis tells them that Jerry attracts too much government attention and therefore she doesn't want him to be any part of this. Jax says if Jerry goes, he goes. Jerry tells Alexis that Stefan used him to use her, and that is part of the reason he wishes to help. She makes a few phone calls and sets up a meeting at the hospital.

February 8, 1999
Alexis et al are at the hospital after it's been revealed that Nikolas is not the heir. Helena tells Alexis that Luke is manipulating her. Helena suggests that Stefan is not Nikolas' father after all, but Alexis says that by the look on Stefan's face, she knows he is. Luke says he just wants to dismantle the Cassadines any way he can. Alexis suggests Helena worry about herself; Helena says if she were her, she'd be worried for her own life, at Stefan's hand.

February 10, 1999
At Kelly's, Luke and Alexis antagonize one another. Alexis accuses Luke of using her. He tells her she's bitter and bitter blossoms bring no honey bees. Jax shows up and berates her for having the Cassadine assets frozen without telling him first. Jax tells her they have to get someone on their side to oversee the dispersal of the family fortune. Jax hands her the card of a friend and she thanks him for the recommendation.

February 11, 1999
Alexis walks into the PCPD and finds Dara questioning Sonny in a rather unethical manner. She steps in as his attorney. Mac shows up and kicks everybody out of his office. Afterwards, Alexis returns Sonny's money to him and says she's not his lawyer. He calls her his mouthpiece and she says she'll never work for him. Alexis storms off as Sonny smiles.

February 12, 1999
Alexis and Jax are chatting in her suite when she tells him that the flowers she's carrying must be from Ned since there's no card. Jax tells her he's got a lot riding on this and before he commits his last dollar to this, he'd prefer to know she's in it wholly. She doesn't answer the way he'd like and he's about to question her when there's a knock on the door. She answers the door only to find Sonny standing before her. She tells Sonny they've got no business together. Sonny begs to differ. As Jax watches them spar, he decides to leave. Alexis tells Sonny she owes him nothing. He tells her that she stated before that she wanted to make amends to Jason for defending Tony, and this is her chance to do so. She gives him some advice and he thanks her for it -- he then advises her to stay away from Jax.

February 15, 1999
Alexis tells Stefan the court is about to appoint a trustee. She says it's not too late to stop this thing. Alexis tells Stefan that Nikolas has a better chance of receiving the Cassadine estate if both of Mikkos' children stand together and tell the courts that's what they want. Stefan asks her price. She says she wants a real sharing of power. Stefan scoffs. Alexis clearly outlines all the wrongs perpetrated upon her by Helena. Stefan still accuses her. She tells him if that's the way he wants it, may the best Cassadine win. Alexis is haunted by Stefan's words, so much so that she ventures out into a snowstorm, angry, and crashes her car.

February 16, 1999
Alexis sits motionless in the car after the crash. Jax rescues her. He takes her into a cabin. Alexis wakes up and sees that Jax has rescued her. She tells him he's better at this damsel in distress stuff than she ever could have imagined. She finds a box of chocolate behind her in a couch cushion and Jax explains it's because Jerry arranged for himself and Bobbie to be stranded, but now because of the storm, they likely won't be coming.
