August 14, 1998
WARDROBE: khaki striped suit; black shirt. In Alexis' nightmare, Stefan is found guilty and is sentenced to life imprisonment. She wakes up. WARDROBE: gray charcoal pinstriped suit w/black buttons. Stefan tells Alexis, "You are incapable of cold-blooded murder. Get a hold of yourself Alexis. This is hardly the time to fall apart." Laura shows up, tears in her eyes, to see Alexis. Alexis calls Laura to the stand. Dara cross-examines Laura. When she is finished Nikolas exclaims he can't believe Laura chose him.

August 19, 1998
WARDROBE: powder blue suit w/pocket. Alexis runs into Luke on the docks. He mentions his wife. Alexis asks what he's done. Luke can't believe Alexis believed what Laura said. He leaves in a strange mood. When Stefan tells her that he's worried about Laura, Alexis tells him they'll talk about it later. Ned shows up and says he's there for her. Stefan is found not guilty. Making Alexis proud, Stefan tells Helena to stay away from his sister or he'll see her dead. Emily congratulates Stefan on his victory. Stefan says he needs a moment to acclimate.

August 21, 1998
Alexis shows up at Luke's to meet Ned. She tells Ned she's meeting Stefan and that when you're Russian by way of Greece you understand the blues. Emily & Jason discuss Alexis. Ned is convinced to perform. Alexis enjoys watching Ned singing. Alexis smiles as Ned sings.

August 25, 1998
Alexis is startled when Luke calls to tell her that he's going on the road for awhile. At Wyndemere, Nikolas and Alexis catch Stefan talking to Katherine's ghost. Nikolas is pleased that Alexis is his aunt. Helena shows up. Stefan lays out the rules for Helena as Alexis takes notes. Garcia shows up to arrest Helena. Helena is arrested as Nikolas, Alexis and Stefan laugh and watch.

August 26, 1998
At the PCPD, Alexis, Nikolas and Stefan settle in for the show as Helena is brought in. Alexis tells Garcia beneath Helena's frail form lies the body of a Colossus. Mac shows up and asks Helena for her personal effects. She's flabbergasted. Mac begins to take inventory of Helena's stuff. She's horrified; all others find it incredibly amusing. Alexis pays a visit to Dara to ensure Helena will be prosecuted. Alexis asks Dara if Judge Griffin granted Helena a hearing. Alexis apologizes for bringing up Justus' name with Dara. When Helena is freed Alexis tells Mac that she'll now go after Stefan.

August 27, 1998
WARDROBE: brown short-sleeved blazer, skirt, black blouse. Alexis is waiting to speak to Laura after Helena is arrested. Alexis tells Laura she won't stand in her way of visiting Wyndemere and/or Stefan. She turns to leave but Laura calls her back. Laura says she doesn't believe anything she's just said. Alexis could care less but tries to keep the peace anyway. She leaves before they can get into another argument.

August 28, 1998
Stefan, Alexis and Nikolas discuss Helena over breakfast. Alexis says she just wants to make it through the hearing with her reputation intact since she's probably the one Helena's the angriest with. Nikolas and Stefan reassure her that if Helena makes trouble, they'll defend her. Collectively they hope she doesn't elude justice again.

August 31, 1998
In the courtroom, Katherine returns from the dead to exonerate Helena.
September 23, 1998
WARDROBE: butterfly clip, brown blazer dress. Alexis comforts Ned after he learns about Brenda's death. She asks how he knew her and he explains there was something vital about her. Ned asks her to defend Jax and Alexis tells him she will. Alexis is surprised to learn Katherine lives there.

September 24, 1998
When Jax is arrested after Brenda's death Alexis agrees to represent him. Alexis arranges for Jax to be released. He asks if she will continue to be his lawyer. She says she will be, if he wants her. Alexis tells Jax that Ned put a fortune on the line for him. Alexis tells V that the meeting she's got with the FBI is the best chance that Jax has got.

September 29, 1998
WARDROBE: gold satin blouse; black suit; glasses. Alexis worries when Jax hasn't shown up at the PCPD yet. Mac tells her that Jax isn't the type to jump bail. Alexis tells Mac, "we've got about 30 seconds before the FBI walks in and finds Jax gone." Jax enters, right on cue. The agents tell Jax that they're willing to let him keep most of his money and his reputation if he'll just testify against his father and brother. Alexis announces the FBI has nothing on Jax, but they maintain they'll take all his money if he doesn't do what they want. Once alone, Alexis tells Jax there's not much to be done to save Jerry & John but he can save himself. Alexis leaves. She returns to her room at the hotel and finds Ned waiting for her. She pretends to be angry, but it all ends in a kiss which quickly grows passionate. Ned tells her that if Jax winds up convicted, he'll profit possibly most of all. She's appalled. Ned tries to seduce her, but it's Alexis who winds up seducing him instead.

October 2, 1998
WARDROBE: black pinstriped suit. Alexis tells Tony the court doesn't issue a permanent order without a good basis. She also tells him that getting into a mud slinging match with Bobbie is a lousy idea. She tells him a good idea would be proving his fitness as a father. Alexis shows up to see Jax at the PCPD. He tells her that his family told him to take the deal and run. Alexis says that short of divine intervention Jerry doesn't have a prayer. Once the FBI agents are in the room Jax agrees to plead guilty if his family is freed. Alone with Alexis, she pleads with him not to do this. "People will think you're no better than Sonny Corinthos or Jason Morgan." Jax doesn't care and Alexis agrees to let him do this.

October 9, 1998
WARDROBE: black sweater with crocheted sleeves. Alexis warns Stefan about Luke but Stefan wants her to find him anyway. Alexis tells Stefan that Katherine's problem with him is that he acts like he never loved her. Laura shows up; Alexis leaves.

October 14, 1998
Helena tells Alexis she has a new assignment for her. Alexis says she won't do it. Helena "apologizes" to Alexis and says she wants to know how much Nikolas' inheritance is worth. When Helena indirectly threatens Laura, a hidden Lucky and Nikolas head out to confront her head-on. Once Helena leaves, Alexis reassures the boys that she's known Helena her whole life and she's not out to get Laura.

October 15, 1998
WARDROBE: black knee-length skirt; v-neck sweater; powder blue shirt. At an ELQ board meeting Alexis explains how she came to be Stefan's sister. She then says she is sincerely asking for the opportunity to win back the trust of the Qs. Alexis is not voted in as ELQ's legal counsel because of Katherine's vote. Ned announces that he wants her to work for L&B.

October 20, 1998
WARDROBE: black blazer, black slip, black overcoat, garter. Alexis is surprised to find V at the gatehouse. Soaking wet, she heads upstairs to change. WARDROBE: maroon satin robe, indigo satin pajamas. Ned explains how V came to be at the gatehouse and how he came to be in a state of undress. Ned tells Alexis they should talk about business with V. He then pinches her behind. Ned is coerced into playing his guitar. Suddenly Jax shows up at the door to interrupt. Ned and Alexis wish that both Jax and V would leave, but unfortunately neither seems to get this impression. The four of them begin talking and V concludes that Alexis is the one Jax needs -- she's his femme fatale. Ned pinches her behind again and tells her that she would make a great femme fatale. Alexis gives V instructions as to how to be a lady. The foursome toast to Monte Carlo.

October 23, 1998
WARDROBE: black short-sleeved sheer blouse. Stefan asks if she's had any luck finding Luke. She tells him that Helena wants to know Nikolas' net worth.

October 29, 1998
Jerry shows up to interrupt Alexis' meal. He says he wants her to clear his name but she tells him no. Jerry insinuates he knows something about Luke & Alexis' hand in Katherine's parapet swan dive. Helena shows up. Stefan shows up and chases Jerry away. Alexis seems out of sorts afterwards.

November 2, 1998
WARDROBE: black blazer, gray shirt. Ned, Jax, Alexis and V pretend the four of them are in Monte Carlo. They name all the ways V will have to bluff at. Alexis and Ned discuss Jax. Alexis tells Ned she could be Lady Godiva -- if she wanted to. Katherine interrupts their lunch and insults Alexis. Katherine exits and Ned tells Alexis he wants her ELQ stock back.

November 6, 1998
WARDROBE: black satin blouse; black blazer. Ned and Alexis head to the Grille where they prepare to make V look good. V shows up, looking quite well. Alexis tells her and Jax that in order for people to believe they're lovers, she's going to have to start touching him more. V is horrified as Alexis and Ned explain the importance of outward appearances. Joyce Hastings shows up to interrupt their meal and flirt with Ned. Alexis says she has to leave for Nikolas' birthday party.

November 10, 1998
Alexis arrives at Nikolas' birthday party where he expresses his worry that Stefan won't get along with the assembled guests. Alexis and Stefan discuss Katherine's good mood. Alexis tells Nikolas not to open his present in front of Stefan. Alexis crosses over to Stefan where they look at their nephew with adoration and love. Alexis is sitting on a bench examining her heel when Ned shows up. She's happy to see him. She jokingly asks how he's going to steal Jax's Monte Carlo winnings. He doesn't deny it. They kiss.

November 17, 1998
Ned tells Alexis how beautiful she is; he then invites her to Monte Carlo. Ned claims that Jax asked for his help but Alexis knows Jax would never ask Ned for help. Ned tells her that Julia saw Jax in Monte Carlo and assumes he's carrying on with Isabella less than two months after his beloved Brenda's death. Ned says his presence might help things. She agrees to go too.

November 18, 1998
WARDROBE: black dress with black sheer overlay. V meets Simon Prentiss; Ned and Alexis show up soon afterwards but Jax isn't happy to see them. Jax can't believe they would show up unexpectedly. Ned can't believe Jax isn't grateful to have someone who knows how to deal with Julia. Suddenly Julia shows up and kisses Ned on the lips. Alexis is shocked. Julia insults Jax and V; they leave. Alexis eavesdrops as Julia tells Ned how mad she is at Jax. Once Ned is alone, Alexis hits him with her purse. She tells him to never talk to her about her eyes or else she'll know he's pulling the wool over them. Ned tells her there's something about Julia that makes him want to swim in the nude with Alexis. They leave hurriedly.

November 23, 1998
WARDROBE: black taffeta skirt; black off-the-shoulder blouse. Julia, Ned and Alexis wind up in the casino together where Alexis agrees to spin the roulette wheel. She starts to win a lot. They agree to get out of there and she pours her money into his pockets. Back in their room, Ned tells Alexis she should be reckless more often, and that Monte Carlo agrees with her. Ned delicately spreads champagne on her body and licks it off; she follows suit and they wind up in the bedroom.

November 24, 1998
WARDROBE: black dress with sweetheart neckline. V convinces Simon that he promised her the world the previous night. Ned and Alexis guilt him into giving it to her. Simon and Jax face off. Ned and Alexis, amorous again, head upstairs. Alexis dumps out her winnings and says "I feel like I'm in a movie starring Cary Grant -- and me!" The chips turning them on, they begin to make out.

November 25, 1998
Jax begins throwing money around during their plane ride home. Jax sits beside Alexis and she seems amused by how happy this renewed wealth has made him. Ned and Alexis listen as Jax tells them how he found out Simon was cheating.
