Alexis worries when Nikolas vows revenge. WARDROBE: Black v-neck long sweater. To Luke: "You don't have any guilt or remorse and I won't let Stefan pay for this. To Luke: "You're revolting." Luke threatens her. To Stefan: "I'm sorry, I didn't know you had a visitor." To Stefan: "How are you managing? He knows that you didn't hurt Katherine. Trust me with your life," she tells Stefan. "Have you considered the possibility that she rigged the parapet?"

June 3, 1998
WARDROBE: black blazer, black skirt, Chinese collared blouse. To Stefan: "You were very fond of her, weren't you? I filed a brief with the court this morning." Stefan wants Luke to leave the scene of the memorial. "We all knew Katherine before you got here." "It was a beautiful ceremony."

June, 1998
WARDROBE: Charcoal gray suit, chocolate-brown shirt under double buttons. Alexis doesn't want Nikolas questioned. "I would like a moment alone with Nikolas before the questioning." "This might move more expeditiously if you ask questions he can answer," Alexis tells Dara and Mac. Alexis tells Nikolas, "You did very well." Talking with Stefan and Nikolas, Alexis says, "It went well." "You needed someone as capable and connected to this family with me." Stefan says, "I am trusting you with my life but more importantly, with Nikolas' future."

June, 1998
WARDROBE: purple blazer w/ black piping; black buttons. Alexis says, "I've had enough of your help to last a lifetime. You had your agenda Luke." "I don't have the stomach for it." "Pinning Katherine's accident on Helena is a good idea." To Ned: "Would it break any corporate by-laws if I asked to join you? She's going away." Ned asks: "What will Helena do?" After dinner, Alexis asks "How much is mine? It was nice. 'Night."

June 18, 1998
"You'll be getting a call from the mayor any time now." Dara tells Mac how Alexis managed to get Stefan's bail granted Stefan and Alexis tell Dara and Mac they're leaving. They're told this is just temporary. Alexis meets Ned at the Grille. "I appreciate your help."

June 19, 1998
WARDROBE: red dress. Nurses' Ball montage Lucky acknowledges the Cassadines. At the Nurses' Ball, letters are read by various people including Monica, Robin. SEXIS NEAR-MISS MEETING WITH NEARBY TABLES AT THE BALL. Tony gives a speech in which he rails out about little girls.

June, 1998
WARDROBE: black shirt; red suit w/ pinstripes. Alexis advises Nikolas to "just concentrate on the basics". She panics upon learning the trial date has been moved up. Alexis informs Stefan that he is Katherine's sole heir. Alexis asks Stefan if Katherine ever discussed her will with him. Stefan tells her he remembers the night that Katherine tried to tell him she changed her will. "I truly believe in your innocence. I just know..." she tells Stefan.

July 8, 1998
Alexis and Luke: "I feel adrenalized. You want to lay that plan on me about framing Helena?" "Katherine's dead because Helena wasn't in the right place at the right time so it's her fault."

July 9, 1998
WARDROBE: olive shirt; black skirt, black cardigan. Alexis tells him "I haven't heard you call me that -- my brother." Stefan asks about Alexis' relationship with Luke and says that his overture of friendship was transparent. Referring to Taggert, Alexis inquires sweetly of Dara, "Speaking of which, do you have any special windows for filing harassment complaints against this man?" Alexis says: "You know something Dara? You're about to fall on your face in a public way." Alexis shows up to see Stefan and Helena. Why don't we go up to my suite and leave the table to my mother," Stefan says. To Stefan: "I don't deserve your trust or forgiveness. I promise you that I will earn them." Alexis says to Nikolas: "They're trying to use your mother to tie a noose around your uncle's neck." Alexis advises Nikolas. "We've met only in Port Charles, not in Greece." Nikolas knows how his mother's presence might be construed.

July 17, 1998
Alexis and Ned: "Anyone in favor of wasting away into oblivion? Ever feel like taking over the whole damn house?" Alexis laughs; she's clearly considered it. Alexis says she supposes she'd have to kill Helena in order to take over Wyndemere. WARDROBE: purple blazer; black dress. "This is about you and a motive." Alexis tells Stefan how the jury will see things. "Fine, great -- do it after the trial." Alexis practices cross-examining Nikolas. Alexis tells Stefan to stay away from Laura. Luke and Alexis: "The thing about conspiracies is they tend to have tentacles: put a leash on yourself." "I've asked him to stay away from Laura." "If you can't keep your wife away I can't keep my client out of jail and I'll send someone else in his place." Alexis narrows her eyes at him. "And that lamp is really ugly." Alexis and Stefan: "I want to rehearse." "If Dara can insinuate you have feelings for Laura..." Alexis comes upon Dara and Luke. "Why are you deposing a witness without me," Alexis asks. Alexis, Dara, and Taggert: "If you're going to use him," Alexis says, and exits. Taggert tells Dara "She'd be hot if she knew how to dress." Dara gives him a dirty look. "What? Baby, you're hot in whatever you put on. Baby -- you know that."

July 29, 1998
Nikolas pleads for Alexis to help him keep his family together. Nikolas suggests leaving the country but Alexis says that's not the answer. Alexis reassures Nikolas. Alexis calls Ned and says that she needs him. Ned shows up and tells Alexis it's hell parking a white charger. "Do you know who killed Katherine?"

July 30, 1998
WARDROBE: khaki pinstriped suit. Luke shows up with fake evidence that Helena changed Katherine's will to make Stefan look guilty. Alexis is elated; Luke calls her Cookie. Alexis realizes that Luke's scheme only makes Stefan look guiltier. This displeases her. Greatly. Luke tells Alexis that he can transfer Helena's fingerprints onto the will. Alexis tells him that the plan could work -- and urges him to get to it immediately. Alexis looks at Nikolas and Stefan and instructs them that they need to change their wardrobe. Neither man wants to do it but she tells them it's important to make the proper impression on a jury. Once they're gone, she replaces the will. Alexis tries not to laugh as Stefan returns downstairs and she tells him he looks average.

July 31, 1998
Alexis reassures her family before they enter the courtroom. Stefan returns her medallion. Alexis suggests to Laura that she may as well give Stefan his lethal injection now. Laura suggests that Alexis is plotting to frame Luke for Katherine's murder. Just then, Luke calls and refers to her as "Natasha The Conqueror". Alexis instructs Stefan not to react to Laura's presence in the courtroom. Dara calls Helena to the stand.

August 1, 1998
Helena is sworn in. When asked how she's related to Stefan, Helena states that he's her cross to bear. Helena explains Cassadine history to the courtroom. Alexis cross-examines Helena.
Alexis takes Laura aside and tells her they need to have an understanding. Laura gets defensive when asked to stay away from the proceedings.

August 6, 1998
WARDROBE: powder-blue suit. Luke shows up with Alexis' dry cleaning. Alexis tells Luke that the lawyer who drew up the will is going to reveal it as a forgery. She then kicks him out. "It looks to me as if the whole thing were a set-up," Alexis says to Stefan. Alexis tells Stefan that Helena played her a tape of her mother, then described killing her. Stefan thanks Alexis for all she's done, she tells him not to thank her. Nikolas knocks on the door, enters and tells Alexis and Stefan that he just saw Helena on the docks. Nikolas tells Stefan he wants Alexis appointed as his guardian.

August 7, 1998
WARDROBE: blue blouse, black blazer, black skirt. Alexis tells Stefan that the will only has one fingerprint on it, which makes her think it's a forgery. Alexis reassures Nikolas. Nikolas testifies. It does not go well. Alexis asks Stefan who he's protecting.

August 10, 1998
Alexis is still pretty mad at Stefan. He explains how Laura came to be at the bacchanalia. Alexis tells Stefan that she's putting Laura on the stand. He forbids it. Alexis visits Laura at home. Laura tries to blow her off but Alexis tells her that Stefan told her everything. Alexis congratulates Luke when the forensics report reveals Helena's fingerprints on the will. Alexis stares at Luke which makes him nervous. It's clear she feels sorry for him but he can't imagine why.

August 11, 1998
WARDROBE: charcoal suit w/one button, black v-neck shirt. Alexis tells Stefan that she has some new ideas about how to get him off, that she will not allow him to sacrifice himself, and discusses what theories might be spun if she doesn't testify. Stefan tells Alexis he's firing her as his attorney. Stefan listens to Alexis' strategy and agrees it's a good idea. He kisses her on the cheek just a moment too long for polite society. Alexis tells Justus she wants to work with him on this case so that she can testify.

August 12, 1998
Alexis announces she's calling a surprise witness -- herself. Stefan agrees to allow Justus to help Alexis in the courtroom. Alexis takes the stand. Helena enters. Alexis is sworn in and swears to tell the truth. Alexis tells the court "I am Mikkos Cassadine's illegitimate daughter." She reveals the will is a forgery. Alexis tries to explain the truth to a very angry Nikolas.

August 13, 1998
Dara recalls Nikolas to the stand. She asks him about the history of Katherine's engagement ring. Dara suggests that Katherine's engagement ring was really Laura's. Dara asks how many trips Nikolas and Stefan took to North Carolina to see Laura. Nikolas reveals that Stefan was in love with Laura while on the stand. Stefan reassures Nikolas. Helena shows up to rub salt in their wounds, and to remind them that she told them not to trust Alexis. Stefan tells Nikolas they must continue to trust Alexis. Alexis promises Justus that she will come up with something to save her brother.

August 14, 1998
WARDROBE: khaki striped suit; black shirt. In Alexis' nightmare, Stefan is found guilty and is sentenced to life imprisonment. Stefan tells Alexis, "You are incapable of cold-blooded murder. Get a hold of yourself Alexis. This is hardly the time to fall apart."
