WARDROBE: Gray suit; white silk blouse. Alexis Davis meets Lucy Coe for the first time and asks, "Are you looking for a good attorney?" Alexis informs Lucy, "I believe in my work," and reiterates that she wants to take Kevin's case. Alexis tells Lucy it's obvious she loves Kevin very much. Alexis tells Lucy that whether she chooses to hire her or not, it's clear Kevin needs a good lawyer. Lucy asks if Alexis is sure she wants to take the case. Alexis says she's positive. Alexis tells Kevin she's not sure guilt is the issue here.

September, 1996
A court employee hands the lady lawyers some papers. Alexis and Dara discuss how they appreciate confidence in an opponent, however misplaced. Court is in session and Alexis tells Kevin she's given him her best advice and she hopes he takes it. Kevin pleads not guilty and the courtroom explodes. Alexis tells Kevin the last-minute plea was a nice touch and very dramatic but he's not to surprise her again. Alexis says there's no reason for Kevin to feel guilty for something he can't remember doing. Alexis calls Dr. Tom Hardy for the defense. Alexis informs Tom, "There's this little make-believe we lawyers like to engage in -- it's called hypothetical and it's allowed," as she questions him. Alexis lets the judge know that what Kevin might have said his plea was going to be has no bearing on the actual case. The judge informs all that bail is denied. Alexis tells Stefan that today in court was just an opening volley.

September, 1996
About Wyndemere: "Great place you've got here -- nice and cozy." She doesn't like it. "I'm fairly certain I can get him off -- that is what you want, isn't it?" Alexis asks her "cousin". Alexis tells Stefan she'll be in touch. Alexis replies to her page and says "Someone at this number paged me", only to find out it was Stefan.

October, 1996
WARDROBE: Tan suit w/ single pocket and shoulder pads; wide lapel; single button; gray blouse with silver stripes. Alexis tells Gina she wants to call her as a witness despite the fact that Kevin "rode her pretty hard". Alexis tells Stefan he only likes her legal mind when it works to his advantage and in this case, it clearly does. In jail, Alexis tells Kevin she wishes she could top Lucy's news. Alexis tells Lucy that Kevin's being transferred to a maximum security prison where they won't allow visitors or therapy.

October, 1996
WARDROBE: Gray overcoat with black collar; charcoal suit w/ wide collar; double-buttoned white silk blouse. At The Outback, Alexis shows up to hear Luke arousing Lucy's suspicions about her motives in taking Kevin's case. She asks Luke if she's speaking too fast for him. Alexis tells Luke that "a skeptical nature and opposable thumbs are all that separate us from the beasts", when he comments on her profession. He's surprised to hear she went to school in many locations including Belgium, and that her early grad work was in political science, and that she's had twelve years of litigation experience. When Luke continues to question her she tells him that "A Mr. Stefan Cassadine brought the case to my attention." Later, Alexis tells Stefan she's "never met a non-Cassadine so sure of himself". Alexis tells Stefan he seems distracted and asks if something is wrong.

October, 1996
WARDROBE: Overcoat; Chocolate brown pinstriped dress; tan blouse; high heeled navy spiked heels. At the hospital, Alexis goes into a meeting wherein she's reviled. She tells everyone assembled that it's no longer a conflict of interest for her to represent the hospital because she's no longer representing Kevin. Tom tells Stefan he feels grilled. Alexis says nothing and looks on. Tom discusses his father's legacy as Alexis looks on. Alexis gives Lucy a file outlining her defense strategy and tells her that it will get Kevin off the hook. "Take a look at the first page - there's a summary. Seriously consider giving this strategy to your next attorney," Alexis tells Lucy as Mike observes the conversation. SEXIS NEAR-MISS MEETING #1 - Sonny walks into Luke's club after Alexis leaves.

November, 1996
Alexis informs Lucy she doesn't want her to change her mind after they get
rolling on the defense. At the brownstone, Lucy and Alexis inform the assembled crowd that they'll be laying charges against everyone. Mac receives a phone call that Kevin's taken a turn for the worse in prison. Alexis asks if Kevin received another beating at the prison. Alexis informs Dara and Mac that their case is destroyed and unfortunately so might her client be.

November, 1996
WARDROBE: Khaki suit; black satin blouse with white paisley-like design. Alexis outlines the terms for Kevin's release. "Hello Cousin" is uttered by Alexis to Stefan for the first time. "I am so glad I chose law over medicine - the way this hospital is imploding I might be busy for years," Alexis tells Stefan. He replies "You might have to stay in Port Charles for quite some time." Alexis and Nikolas tease Stefan. She can't believe he gave up control of his computer game to a machine. Alexis is speaking with Alan and Monica. "I'm Alexis Davis. I pride myself on not wasting my clients' time," she says to Monica. When asked why she wants to take on the case, she answers "Because I think Dorman's a slimy little liar and I'd love to tear him apart on the witness stand."

December 4, 1996
WARDROBE: Charcoal suit; silver blouse. Alexis tells Kevin she wants to hire him as a consultant on Monica's case.

December 5, 1996
Alexis tells Luke he should be grateful she didn't shoot him. After Luke insults the Cassadines Alexis tells him she's one of those pesky family members. Alexis feigns surprise that Luke didn't know of her Cassadine lineage. She then tells him Helena's not dead -- "you have to be human to die". Alexis tells Luke she thinks he can't even imagine being born into the Cassadine family, especially being female in that world. She sends him on his way. Alexis tells Stefan about Luke's visit and that she took care of it. She says about Luke, "He claims he was looking for Helena. He thought she was here." At Bobbie and Stefan's wedding Alexis says "May love be the tie that binds."

December, 1996
WARDROBE: Chocolate brown suit; black satin blouse with white dots. Alexis and Kevin are laughing when Lucy walks in, suspicious. Alexis explains she just dropped by when her cell phone rings. She says this is so embarrassing and takes the call from Stefan informing her of Laura's "death". Alexis tells Lucy it was nice seeing her before she leaves.

December 17, 1996
When they can't find Nikolas, Alexis asks if he has a friend. Stefan takes off. Alexis tells Stefan to stop trying to control Nikolas and cut him some slack. WARDROBE: Light brown coat; pearl hair clip; brown gloves; brown scarf; charcoal suit; black satin blouse with paisley-like pattern. Alexis shows up at Mac's house and asks Katherine if she's seen Nikolas. Alexis gives Katherine her number in case she hears from Nikolas. SEXIS NEAR-MISS MEETING #2 - Sonny knocks on Mac's door just after Alexis leaves.

Alexis asks her cousin if he's well-protected enough here. Alexis thanks Bobbie for helping Stefan through this. She asks how her brother is, and if she wants her to stay.

At the hospital after Katherine's shooting, Alexis informs her family that she's just come from Wyndemere where the guards told her what happened. Alexis informs Bobbie she wants a moment alone with her cousin. Bobbie says they're all family now. Alexis meets Taggert and thanks him for keeping them all informed. SEXIS NEAR-MISS MEETING #3. Sonny's hospitalized just a few feet from where the Cassadines are congregated waiting for word on Katherine's recovery. Alexis watches Bobbie and Stefan. Upon seeing Stefan in the scrubs Bobbie found him she tells him he looks like a doctor. Alexis tells Nikolas she wishes to tactfully suggest his uncle needs him now. He takes off in a rage. Alexis asks if she's seen Stefan because she can't find him anywhere. Alexis asks about Luke. Alexis says to Stefan, "I'm concerned about you. What the hell is going on? You want to explain to me why you need a lawyer? You shot Katherine Bell? Why?" Alexis is shocked when her cousin confesses. Alexis informs Stefan he needs to stay calm and keep his wits about him. Alexis tells Stefan he's putting himself in jeopardy - they don't know yet if Katherine will be able to identify him. JAXIS NEAR-MISS MEETING #1. Alexis nearly meets her future husband when he shows up at the hospital to see Brenda, Miranda and Sonny. Alexis watches Stefan as he watches Katherine learn she's paralyzed.

December 24, 1996
WARDROBE: Charcoal suit; black satin blouse with paisley-like white pattern. Alexis walks into The Port Charles Grille and orders a double martini very, very dry. Alexis tells Ned she hates the holidays because it's like playing pin-the-tail on the donkey with bayonets - and when it's over everybody's bleeding. Ned shows Alexis a photo of Brooke Lynne and tells her he'd pick her up but he's too drunk, tired and married.

December, 1996
WARDROBE: Brown pinstriped dress. Alexis and Kevin show up to question Monica. They tactfully suggest Emily wait elsewhere. Monica tells Kevin and Alexis about Dorman. Alexis tells Monica she's not wrong to feel the way she does and that anyone would be sensitive to that kind of betrayal. Alexis asks Nikolas if he plans to growl at her. He says no. At the hospital, Alexis asks Kevin if there's anything he wishes to go over before the meeting. He says no. Alexis tells Stefan the meeting's over. Alexis tells Kevin these things can drag out. (Note: Nancy's got a cold and she's wearing her glasses.) Alexis assures Alan she'll tell Stefan he's looking for him. She then informs the Qs that Kevin's too smart to tip his hand -- that's why she hired him and they shouldn't worry. Stefan yells at Nikolas and Alexis shrugs. Nikolas and Alexis watch Alan and Stefan argue. "I understand Miss Bell is still in surgery," Alexis says to Mac. He tells her she is.

December 31, 1996
WARDROBE: black puffy coat; black sparkly spaghetti-strap dress. On New Year's Eve, Alexis takes Nikolas out for dinner and then comes back to Wyndemere to see Stefan, Bobbie and Lucas. Alexis wishes the Wyndemere residents a Happy New Year. Brenda and Ned are in the foreground as Alexis is in the background speaking to Jax, Dara and Justus. When Emily finds out Nikolas is in the Q driveway she heads out to get him. Alexis remarks to Ned that brooding men in black seem to appeal at any age. MONTAGE: "The Way You Look Tonight". Alexis shows up to see Kevin and Lucy with bad news. SEXIS SCENE #1. At another table, Miranda hides from Alexis; she and Sonny discuss Alexis. "I'll bet you will. There's something about that woman." Alexis shows up to find Pierce talking to Emily. She says she's going to ask him not to say another word to her client's daughter. Alexis informs Pierce and his lawyer that in the American system of jurisprudence, a jury gets to decide guilt or innocence. Alexis and Monica discuss Pierce's mood swings. "Scary wasn't it -- and I don't scare easily."

January, 1997
WARDROBE: Charcoal suit; black hair clip. Justus refers to Alexis as "the" A.C. Davis. She then tells him blood is thicker than champagne which is why she came to Port Charles. Alexis says that the problem with Monica's case is that there's no witnesses. Alexis observes Ned, Keesha and AJ discussing Jason's accident. Upon learning about Jason, Alexis says to Ned, "now he's got..." and Ned says yes. "My uncles tried to freeze the world -- top that," Alexis retorts.

January, 1997
WARDROBE: black dress w/ khaki stripes; khaki single-button blazer. Alexis complains about the amount of time Stefan's been spending at the hospital with Katherine. Sensing she should leave Stefan and Bobbie alone, Alexis says she'll go call someone. Alexis argues she can be spontaneous. Alexis tells him to stay away from Katherine. Alexis tells Stefan the more contact he has with Katherine, the more likely it is she'll remember that he shot her.

January, 1997
WARDROBE: black suit with silver chains on the hanging belt and on the cuffs. To Stefan: "I know that I may be crossing the line -- but so are you -- with Katherine. I called the hospital and Katherine's fine." Alexis tells Nikolas she knows he came outside because he feels alone. When Alexis hears Tom's suspicions, she knocks over her wine glass. "I made quite a mess here," she says as Tom and Felicia look on suspiciously. Alexis tells her cousin, "Stefan, one more time -- stay away from Katherine."

January, 1997
WARDROBE: dark heels, overcoat with black collar; black suit; silver blouse with diamond pattern. Alexis gives Kevin the settlement papers. Alexis tells Kevin a key condition of the settlement is his termination. Kevin doesn't know what to do without a job; he invites her to lay down on his couch. Lucy shows up, suspicious. Alexis tells Lucy the class action suit's been settled. She then tells her she's a Cassadine so there's no need to apologize for being weird. Alexis tells Stefan that Kevin handled the termination surprisingly well. She then asks if he's emotionally involved with Katherine. Alexis hands Pierce the restraining order. Alexis tells Pierce, "Get out or I will press charges. I'm not bluffing doctor -- I never do." Alexis tells Stefan "I'm a lawyer and I'm family but there's nothing more I can do for you if you don't listen to me." Alexis and Nikolas come upon Emily's birthday party and are invited to stay. Emily's birthday party brings many surprise guests. Alexis asks Alan to just walk away from Pierce -- he's trying to provoke him.

January, 1997
WARDROBE: glasses, ivory silk blouse, dark vest, khaki suit w/ one button. Alexis observes Stefan and Tom. Alexis further watches Stefan and Tom. Alexis suggests to Audrey that they leave the boys alone. Alexis tells Stefan "I'm very well aware of the fact that I've been riding you about Katherine Bell lately." Alexis kisses a letter and then mails it.

January 30, 1997
WARDROBE: plum suit, brown overcoat with black collar. Alexis and Ned meet up at the airport where she offers him a ride. Ned tells Alexis that he doesn't want to testify on Monica's behalf. w/Monica, Pierce. In court, Alexis tells Monica she's going to have to work on Quartermaine solidarity when no one shows up at the trial.
